Alternative To Script X

INVASION OF THE WORLD: BATTLE LOS ANGELES - Jonathan Liebesman (Battle LA - 2011)

First thank you very much for the messages of support I have sent in the previous post, that I felt and appreciated at heart. Thank you very much to you all.

Well, as my wife was in the hospital with his family, I made a break and rather tired and overwhelmed, I went to see Battle of Los Angeles on a Amc cinemas here in the United States in the first session was at midnight on Thursday, the last thing 12.

The movie was chock full, a good sign, but was still echoes in my brain Skyline trailer: it was very attractive and cool but it turned out that the film size anaconda was crap.

The trailer of Battle LA are powerful, vibrant and dramatic. Does the film will live up to the same or will be another joke as Skyline?

The Movie (NO SPOILERS WILL THE FINAL MOMENTS OF THE FILM OR CRITICAL) is a new version of Independence Day, that alien-invasion film starring Will Smith.

But it's been 14 years after this film (almost nothing) and the film changes, evolves and improves technically a rush.

This film takes the action from the point of view of a platoon of marines, who lives and fight against the invasion of a violent, crude, dirty foot. Here there is no immaculate jet fighter pilots as Independence Day, as proto of the move.

In a realistic way, the film was visually inspired by films like Black Hawk Down or the Bourne spy saga: mounts shaky, frenetic, with zooms and blurs that come and go, etc ... general textured roll documentary.

The movie, go for parts is a huge show: there are millions of gunfire, explosions, special effects, big battles, etc ... It means that nothing disappoints and offers what may be deduced from the trailers, but multiplied a hundredfold.

The script, without being anything spectacular or clever, it just works correctly, and is on par with the film mechanically, and sometimes even irrelevant, and that is one of the earliest defects that I see the film.

The film is like an electrocardiogram, up and down, up and down, up and down ... If for example in James Cameron's Avatar the script has an interest, a rhythm, a thriller from beginning to end, here the script has significant ups and downs when not in use firearms. There

incredibly long dialogue or situations elongated almost unbearable as the death of the Mexican. Not if I explain ... If aliens attack you chopped steadily since the house, so agile and aggressive, and all Marines took refuge in a house ... Why aliens do not attack without mercy the house or call a flying saucer support for the jump in the air?

same happens before getting the bus. When they take refuge in the building aliens LOSE INTEREST IN THEM, and let the troops back together the necessary time human.

It's strange, but similar situations made me a bit strange, somewhat artificial, and too boring.

I think the film has too many as 10, 15 or 20 minutes, so you have more flexibility and consistency. No longer to be better. Not by having more dialogues is deeper. But not to develop the personalities of the soldiers will work better on film. Quite

dialogues unnecessarily drag on film beginning when the Marine meets with his superior, the assembly is frantic in a simple conversation, to the extent that overwhelmed me a bit. "Such a montage of images for a fucking interview of a guy sitting in a chair in front of a guy behind a desk? So ... by that token, when a mounting battle will be as brutal and crazy it better to have at hand a bag to vomit dizziness going to give.

That is, when there is no need to move the camera as if it were tied to the tails of a nervous dog, the move without stopping. And when should talk little, talk up a storm.

But not me wrong: the film is very good and spectacular and highly entertaining (if not spoken by the characters) and buts but I put those two: sometimes go with the mounting screw in scenes that do not require visual adrenaline and open dialogue sequences are as endless as soporific.

The aliens are interesting.

Moving away from that stupid cliché of giving them faces, big eyes torn, big heads, etc ... Beings are treated with the appearance of the entrails of an octopus. Gather an octopus, let him return to the head, and inside it is the appearance of aliens.

They have a kind of exoskeleton bone, which like piercings, fixing mechanical components such as weapons, tools, etc ... The rather big heads are like diving suits in their heads floating in a water environment. The film

not say, but I guess the aliens are sea creatures of the underwater world, which has developed much technology to be able to survive on earth and be able to travel through the atmosphere or space. A defined in

not where the aliens seem transformers. Not exactly. From a distance it may seem so, but have their own appearance, and are about two feet high and three meters high, and as fortunately dead do not die.

The human-alien military confrontation is quite even in concept. If the Marines are the ground troops, the aliens have their infantry units, if the army used tanks, the Marines used a machine the size of a car, walking thanks to a mechanical legs, and is capable of shooting from small missiles to rain energy rays that burst a bus.

If aliens are invading ships fast and agile, they are capable of destroying helicopters, but of course, the U.S. fighters are also able to make pieces with air-air missiles.

words, regardless of the superior alien technology that has enabled intelligent species that travel through space, their methods of invasion are similiares strategically and Conceptually speaking to humans.

The aliens have machine guns that fire armor-piercing ammunition. If I let you tie it like a sieve. But besides that is incendiary ammunition, leaving half burnt bodies.

Unlike films like Independence Day or War of the Worlds Spielberg, in which the rays vaporize people, here the streets of Los Angeles are littered with thousands and thousands of corpses, in a realistic way .

Another interesting aspect of the film is because we invade. The information is very little about it, but basically it's for water.

If some think they want to come live here, or eat humans for anything, but the aliens based their civilization on the water. They are capable of generating power with water, replacing this to oil or nuclear energy.

words, spacecraft, computers, aliens, weapons, etc ... However, using water. "Amazing that technology, right?

If we humans, for oil, wars unleashed in the Middle East, imagine how the aliens crave a world where 71% of its surface is water, which would be for them a huge untapped energy bonanza.

The end of the film is epic, thrilling and the soundtrack helps a lot. The movie disappointed me at all but as I said is not a masterpiece, but almost.

It's like someone in a review takes an eight, which to me is an A, but it lacks something else to be 10. This film is a masterpiece, but is actually very good. I personally liked.

Michelle Rodriguez as wonderful as always, powerful and captivating, and next to Aaron Eckhart as it also does very well. In general all the actors do their job perfectly.

extras I have included some pictures of the other female protagonist of the film, Bridget Moynahan, so glad you eyes a little. Hahahaha ...

a very important aspect of the film I want to stand out from all the Next ...

In 1986 the movie Top Gun, that of fighter pilots starring Tom Cruise, made many people are enlisted in the army.

Now imagine that the U.S. Department of Defense thinks

"We need more than one hundred thousand marines. More people must join"

How do they do? "Putting more ads on TV, on radio? Imagine

who decide to make a film super-patriotic and inspiring show the Marines as a class of men born to sacrifice for others. They are not afraid to risk their lives because they are brave, and its mission is to protect and save civilians, houses and cities.

are a breed of men and women who know they can die, that war is difficult, dirty and dangerous, and which sometimes have to sacrifice their lives for the benefit of other comrades, almost suicidal risk maneuvers, etc. ..

and located such recruitment and patriotic feuilleton as a war film in which no longer fight against Islamic terrorists, but against aliens who want to invade U.S. (that's more politically correct.) Really

espítitu MILITARY inspiring the film is brutal and I think it stands up above the very action of the film. I think part of a deliberate approach to the ideology of this film.

At the end of the projection of the film, everyone applauded wildly at the cinema, something that few have seen in my life. That means that the film much like the general public, so no doubt will be a global blockbuster. Attributes

not short: lots of action, many special effects and a massive alien invasion.

I think the U.S. military should set recruitment offices mobiles to the outputs of the cinemas, because overtime would not hesitate signing up new recruits.

A spectacular film and RECOMMENDED. It is an excellent film that came close to being something memorable, but lacked some details er to really round.
